艾琳Dalik

Advertising Design

艾琳Dalik is an advertising design major who has benefited from the SEED Scholarship at Delaware Tech. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at the Terry Campus in 多佛. 

In addition to earning a college degree without acquiring massive debt, Dalik also chose to attend Delaware Tech to remain in close proximity to her family and pursue a program that puts her artistic passions to use. 

“My older sister went through this program while I was still in high school. It was inspiring to see what can be involved with advertising design and how many careers are made available through this major,”她说。.

Following graduation, Dalik hopes to begin her freelance graphic design career. Her dream is to ultimately venture into apparel design. 

“I have always been interested in creating unique designs for clothing. I would also love to open my own shop with posters, stickers, and other products with my designs.” 

Since beginning at Delaware Tech, Dalik has learned how to man年龄 her time more efficiently and has been able to relay valuable advice she has learned along the way to other students who are looking to enhance their college experience. 

“Talk with your teachers and form relationships with them. They are here to help us as students and they want to see us succeed. I started out fairly shy and was nervous to ask questions in class, but as I got more comfortable, I found that my teachers were glad that I asked questions,达利克说.

“My teachers were all e年龄r to help me understand the course materials thoroughly and wanted to help with any obstacles I faced.”

Dalik’s favorite memories spent at Delaware Tech have been the times when she can see her creative ideas come to life. “It’s been neat to see how my classes can help me turn my art into a career!”
